“Multiracial” Selangor PKR MB’s UMNO – MIC style mandore politics, but Anwar Ibrahim says Hindraf’s agenda is racist

We had vide our letter dated 16/03/2010 brought to the attention of the PKR led Selangor Menteri Besar the very basic low cost housing problem which is now outstanding for 16 years, the last two years being under the supposedly “multiracial” PKR led Selangor State government.

Despite the heading of this letter titled “PKR’s temporary ala UMNO as opposed to permanent solutions, is playing the exact UMNO racist game, cheats PJS 1 Indian settlers and others. This PKR Menteri Besar who presumably is still hounded by his past thick UMNO association, referred this matter to his PKR Indian Exco Mandore, who is:-

1) Powerless to address this problem,

2) As it is not this PKR Indian Exco Mandore but the Malay Y.B. Iskandar who is in charge of Squatters and vested with the powers.

This clearly shows mandorism, using an Indian Adun to resolve an Indian problem, when it is not the Indian Adun who has the powers to effect changes. PKR claims to be multi-racial when the victims of state abuses are the Indians, PKR pushes the buck to their Indian Exco mandores to deal with it. This PKR Indian Exco mandore is not vested with the powers, will not be able to solve this problem, and PKR like UMNO intends the quarrels to be between the Indians and Indian Exco members, while the real culprit, PKR and UMNO, gets away scot free.

This has been UMNO’s strategy in dealing with the Indians in their 50 years old rule of Selangor and now ably aped by PKR in Selangor.

On a similar note the latest glaring example being the Kg Buah Pala in Penang, DAPs’ Penang Chief Minister also used his DCM II Indian mandore to attend to the issue but whose portfolio has nothing to do with land and squatters.

Similarly another glaring example is the Ladang Batu Pekaka Hindu cemetery demolishment by the Kedah PAS. Menteri Besar Dato Seri Azizan passed the issue to the Kedah Indian Exco mandore whose portfolio does not cover these area.

If at all, it is all the more reason why PKR, DAP and PAS should use the real “Tuans” and “Kapitan and Towkays” in Penang who are vested with the real powers to deal with the Indians as they all claim to be “multiracial”. Where is the change from UMNO-MIC that P.R had promised in last general elections.

We want an end to these PKR, DAP and PAS Mandores, and an end to this Mandorism.

To add insult to injury when we raise these racist P.R rule, PKR Supremo Anwar Ibrahim calls it ‘the racist Hindraf agenda’.
