He said as the political landscape in the country had changed, PPP was willing to do this rather than feel humiliated should it not be able to win the seats in the next GE.
"In fact, if the Prime Minister says Kayveas you need not stand for election (in the next GE) I will abide by what he says," he told reporters after PPP's 58th general assembly here Sunday.
The assembly was opened by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
In the 2008 GE, PPP lost both seats allocated to it, Kayveas the Taiping parliamentary seat and the Pasir Berdamar state seat which was contested by Lee Heng. Both seats were lost to candidates from the DAP.
Kayveas added that even if PPP was not given any seat to contest in the next GE, the party would still remain solidly behind the BN.
