Perak won’t promote Kalu Malai Hindu temple as a tourist attraction. But would do so for the Paloh Koo Mui Chinese temple (The Star Metro 10/10/09 page M40) This is because the Perak Chinese have both the political and economic clout which the Indians do not have. This is a political reality.
