Tuan Aziz Goes To Ground To Listen

KUALA KRAI, July 1 (Bernama) -- For the Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate for the Manik Urai state assembly seat by-election this July 14, Tuan Aziz Tuan Mat, 39, going down to ground to listen to villagers' problems is not an alien matter.

This is because such activity was always carried out by him when he served as South Kelantan Development Authority (Kesedar) project monitoring division manager in Gua Musang.

He felt no difficulty interacting with the various levels of people including the elderly while going house to house in Kampung Lata Rek and Kampung Laloh, here Wednesday.

"For both the villages, the main problem was difficulty in getting clean water supply and disruption in supply," he told reporters after the visit.

Tuan Aziz promised to solve the problem if the BN was given the mandate in the by-election. The by-election is being held following the death of Ismail Yaakob, 60, of Pas on May 22 due to a heart attack.

PAS is fielding fish wholesaler, Mohd Fauzi Abdullah, 50, who is also the Kuala Krai Pas division treasurer.
