While the odd Independent High Court Judge in Malay-sia granted RM 2.5 Million in compensation to Malek Hussien for being unlawfully detained tortured and assaulted under the ISA, the UMNO controlled Court of Appeal Judges dismissed this award ( see NST 26/3/2010 at page 23 )
This is all the more reason why the Hindraf Lawyers despite it being over 10 months since the release from their unlawful ISA detention have refused to file a civil suit against the UMNO controlled Malay-sian government.
Because they will not get Justice in the UMNO controlled Malay-sian Courts.
