(Malaysiakini)The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission's (MACC) list of questions to private investigator P Balasubramaniam is now in his lawyer's possession in London.
The MACC papers, which came in an envelope, were sent by taxi to Balasubramaniam's lawyer Americk Sidhu at his London hotel.
The questions were sent to Balasubramaniam via courier service after the MACC backpedalled on its pledge to send officers to London to record his statement, scheduled for yesterday.
"We can confirm we've received the questions and are studying them at the moment,” said Americk, who declined to elaborate.
Balasubramaniam is now expected to reply in the form of an affidavit.

The MACC is investigating his claim that several personalities had coerced him into retracting a statutory declaration concerning the murder of Mongolian national Altantuya Shaariibuu.
The personalities allegedly include Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak's younger brother Nazim and businessman Deepak Jaikishan.
After the incident, Balasubramaniam fled the country and continued to make more allegations against Najib, his wife Rosmah and even claimed that the premier's former aide Nasir Safar was at the scene when Altantuya was arrested by the police.
Press conference on Wednesday
Despite MACC officers cancelling the scheduled interview, Balasubramaniam and his lawyers waited at the scheduled venue - Holiday Villa in Leinster Gardens.
His lawyers include Americk and Manjit Singh Dhillon. They were accompanied by PKR supreme council member Zaid Ibrahim and blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin.
"We waited from 10am and left at 1pm," said Americk.
While waiting, the group enjoyed ice kacang at a Malaysian restaurant in the hotel. A brief interlude saw the arrival of the MACC package by taxi.
Balasubramaniam will hold a press conference at the same venue at 11am on Wednesday (7pm Malaysian time) where he is expected to make further revelations.
