RM 3 Billion from rich Chinese schools. Zero Indian rich. (The Star 26/1/2010 at page 7)

(The Star 26/1/2010 at page 7)

“The total amount spent on Chinese secondary education in the last ten (10) years alone was a hefty RM 3 billion.” “The expenditure included the cost of school expansion facilities, etc”.

But there are no history of any Indian rich enough in Malaysia who has forked out even half a million for any of the 523 Tamil schools in Malaysia.

Unlike the corporate and business Chinese community, there are almost none from amongst the Indians. UMNO projects like Tan Sri Ananda Krishnan as having earned RM 20 billion, Tan Sri Gnanalingam and Dato Seri Tony Fernandez are promoted as being the top 20 Billionaires in Malaysia.

From the Income Tax they pay they could have been donated to these 523 Tamil schools and secured the tax exemption accordingly. But these three Indian “Billionaires” are mere proxies for some UMNO linked personalities, and so unlike the Chinese Billionaires they are unable to donate even the money they pay for their taxes to these 523 Tamil schools, with which would all have had fully air conditioned and multi storied modern buildings.
