Najib instructs the Air Force Chief to approve the proposal

On 20 April 2007, Aerotree wrote to the Minister of Defence, Najib Tun Razak. It was a proposal to train RMAF personnel in Malaysia, which the company alleged would save the country a lot of money. Actually, the opposite was what happened. On 3 May 2007, Najib’s office sent a letter to the Air Force Chief to ‘bring it to his attention’. In Malaysia, this means ‘approve it’.
