Hindu crematoriums are government responsibilitiy. UMNO’s mandore

In any country crematoriums and burial places are the responsibility of the state government and the local authorities. The only exception in the whole wide world is Malay-sian Prime Minister Najib Razak’s One Malay-sia where it is left to the local community.Why then does the local Councils collect assessment and quit rent from the Indians?

The Sentul Indian community for example (refer NST 9/11/09 at page 52) has to beg UMNO for RM 500,000.00 and a monthly grant to upgrade and maintain the Sentul Sivan Temple Hindu crematorium. UMNO’s mandore MIC is playing the usual “ Wayang Kulit” by making this grand RM 500,000.00 announcement which will as usual not trickle down. Even the fencing for this crematorium that is still being done up as of now is sponsored by some small Indian time businessman.

To start off with, UMNO has taken away this crematorium land that was given by the British in 1923 to the Hindus. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Why hasn’t Prime Minister Razak’s One Malaysia not granted state government land to not only this. But also to hundreds of other crematoriums and burial sites as what was given to the malay muslim burial sites.
