Penang Umno Sets Up Two Secretariats, Creates Five New Posts

PENANG, May 14 (Bernama) -- Penang Umno today set up two secretariats and created five new posts to further strengthen the party at the state level.

Its chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the two secretariats, namely Complaints and Public Welfare and Training, would be headed by Azlina Mehtab Ishaq and Datuk Abdul Latif Mirasa respectively.

The five new posts are assistant secretary, which will be shouldered by Zulkifli Yahaya, executive secretary 1 (Ramlan Ishak) executive secretary 2 (Ahmad Sahar Shuib), assistant treasurer (Datuk Mohd Salim Abdul Bari) and special aide to the chairman (Datuk Nordin Mohd Noor).

Speaking to reporters after chairing the first meeting of Penang Umno after he took over as chairman, Ahmad Zahid also announced the appointments of Datuk Zainal Abidin Osman as deputy chairman while Datuk Azhar Ibrahim was retained as secretary, Tan Sri Nor Mohamed Yakcop (treasurer), Datuk Musa Sheikh Fadzir (information chief ) and Raja Munir Raja Mustapa as deputy information chief.

On the Penanti by-election in the state scheduled for May 31, he said a decision on whether the Barisan Nasional would contest it would be made on May 18.

Do i hear public welfare and taraining? What training?Another tric to prepare how to bring in ghost vote after annoucing another tric earlier to set up reserve forces camp in all 222 parliment constituencies.

Rela consists of local people so how can they b phantom voters??? thats y training is needed to educate d PEOPLE..heh
