KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 23 (Bernama) -- The Education Ministry will wait for a police report on the case of Form Four student Mohd Azlin Mohamad, who died after he was assaulted by a group of students on Feb 13, before deciding on the next course of action.
Its minister, Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein, said the ministry would not make any conclusions on the matter just yet.
"We will let the police do the investigations, and after that we will do the follow-up," he told reporters at the Parliament lobby here Monday.
He said there would be no compromise by the ministry if the suspect or suspects in the case involved students.
Mohd Azlin, 16, died at the Intensive Care Unit of the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre at about 3am on Saturday after being in coma for eight days.
