High Court judge Datuk Ghazali Cha today stood by his decision yesterday to fine the PKR federal lawmaker RM2,000, the threshold amount that causes him to lose his seat in Parliament.

“We were informed by the judge though his deputy registrar that his grounds are clear and there’s no need for clarification,” Chua’s lawyer, Amer Hamzah Arshad told The Malaysian Insider this morning.
