PKR : Petaling PJS Indian homeless complain to HRP

This morning a group of 20 Indian settlers representing a total of 200 over Indian families from PJS (formerly Kg Medan) came over to the HRP H.Q in Jalan Bangsar, K.L to complain about even the PKR led Selangor State government refusing to sort out their 80 year old housing problem which is now running into their third generation.

From their original houses on government land they have been moved to three different temporary longhouses. Had they been Malay muslims they would most probably have been granted individual housing lots or Rancangan Kampong Tersusun (RKT)

Even under the present PKR led Selangor state government like the previous UMNO regime only another temporary and the usual piecemeal solution for Indian victims is offered.

They have now asked for an urgent appointment with the Selangor Menteri Besar.

If this does not materialize, HRP would be forced to come out in open comformation with the PKR and P.R Selangor State Government on this issue.
