KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 23 (Bernama) -- Muslims here continue to voice
their anger against the anti-Islamic film, 'Innocence Of Muslims', which
ridicules Prophet Muhammad and Islam, by burning an effigy of its
producer, Nakoula Besseley, here Sunday night.
The effigy was lit by Perkasa president Datuk Ibrahim Ali before some 200 residents of the Desa Tun Razak People's Housing Project here at a gathering held in conjunction with the Malaysia Day celebration.
Speaking to reporters later, Ibrahim said the burning of the effigy was to symbolise the Muslims' anger for the production of such a film by Nakoula Besseley.
