RPK living in Kalimullah's flat in London

(Malaysian Digest) - Gerakan anti-PKR (GAP) confirmed that Malaysia Today editor, Raja Petra is hiding at an apartment in Bayswater, London.

Through its blog, http://gerakan-anti-pkr.blogspot.com, the blogger claimed that Raja Petra is residing in Helinna Hamun Dadameah’s six-storey apartment at No 20, Trinity Court Apartments in Bayswater's Gloucester Terrace. Helinna is believed to be the wife of Datuk Seri Kalimullah Hassan, a former deputy chairman of New Straits Times who is known to have a strong affiliation with former prime minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

It is not known how long Raja Petra, who is popularly known as RPK, has been living there. It was earlier reported that the police had managed to trace Raja Petra’s movements who had fled to Thailand illegally before flying off to Australia. He was also reported to have spent the new year holidays in Poland while others claims that Raja Petra is staying in Manchester.

Raja Petra has been issued with two arrest warrants after he failed to appear in court on April 23 and May 23 for his trial over a seditious article on his website defaming the Prime Minister’s wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor. He is also accused of defaming Rosmah and two others in a statutory declaration made at the Jalan Duta Court complex on June 18, last year.

The Sessions Court later granted him a discharge not amounting to an acquittal on Nov 11 and 13, as the police had yet to serve the warrant of arrest on him.

Police are still trying to hunt down Raja Petra with the arrest warrant issued against him under Section 4(1)(b) of the Sedition Act.
