KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 20 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun
Razak said he listened to the people's plight, especially over the
increase in the cost of living.
The government, he said, was always looking for suitable formulae to safeguard the people's welfare and prosperity.
In his latest Facebook posting, Najib said at the same time, the government also had to ensure sustainability of the country's economy.
"Because of that, the government agrees to set up the Laboratory on Living Cost under the Performance Management and Delivery Unit (PEMANDU)," he said.
He said the laboratory would study and identify measures to ease the people's burden.
