IGP Holds Brainstorming Session With Former Police Top Brass

KUALA LUMPUR, March 10 (Bernama) -- The Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Tan Sri Ismail Omar held a brainstorming session with former police top brass, including former IGPs and deputy IGPs at Bukit Aman here Thursday.

The core issue discussed at the session included the need to enhance the safety perception in the community, improving police discipline, synergy and supervision, and transfer of expertise, said Bukit Aman in a statement.

Former IGPs present were Tun Hanif Omar and Tan Sri Mohd Bakri Omar while former deputy IGPs were Tan Sri Jamil Johari and Tan Sri Samsuri Arshad.

The brainstorming session was part of a series of the police top brass meetings initiated by Ismail since last month.
