KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 14 — Police are expected to carry out DNA tests (deoxyribonucleic acid) on the next-of-kin of four victims who were murdered and burnt in Tanjung Sepat, Banting, to determine the identity of the victims.
All the next-of-kin, including CIMB Bank officer Noorhisham Mohammad’s mother Satinah Mokhtar, were at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) since 1pm today to undergo the DNA test.
Also present was cosmetics millionaire Datuk Sosilawati Lawiya’s daughter.
Earlier, Noorhisham’s wife Suzana Radim Pangat, 38, was among those seen entering the Dang Wangi Police station to give their personal details to assist in the investigations.
Sosilawati, 47, her personal driver Kamaruddin Shamsuddin, 44, Noorhisham, 38, and lawyer Ahmad Kamil Abd Karim, 32, were reported missing since August 30, after going to Banting, Selangor for a land purchase deal.
Police later confirmed that the four were murdered, burnt and their ashes strewn in a river near Ladang Gadong, Tanjung Sepat. — Bernama
