KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 8 — Muslims in Malaysia will celebrate Aidilfitri on Friday, the Keeper of the Rulers’ Seal, Engku Tan Sri Ibrahim Engku Ngah, announced tonight.
The announcement was broadcast by Radio Television Malaysia (RTM).
“In adherence to the command of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong and the consent of the rulers, I hereby declare that the date for Hari Raya Puasa (Aidilfitri) has been set for Friday, 10 Sept 2010,” he said. — Bernama
