KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 11 — Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat remains MCA president for now, party secretary-general Senator Datuk Wong Foon Meng told reporters today.

He repeated his advice to Ong not to make a decision until the central committee sits on Thursday to resolve the current crisis.

Ong is currently on leave until Wednesday after being delivered the vote of no-confidence by the party’s delegates yesterday.

CC-team,
Datuk OTK should continue to be the President. Otherwise the whole MCA will play innocently into the hand of 3rd force 'taikor'.

The current batch of VP - 75% of them are power hungry salivating now base on their push for vacant seats to be filled up.

statistician
MCA want to be relevant? Maintain Datuk OTK as president and sincerely see through the PKFZ fiasco. Once the public sees a sincere effort is made to dispose off the can of PKFZ-worms and its breeders, the predominant slice of chinese will come back to MCA as then MCA yu-chong! (got guts)
