KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 6 (Bernama) -- The police have agreed to allow
supporters of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) advisor Datuk Seri Anwar
Ibrahim to gather peacefully at the car park outside the Jalan Duta
court complex here on Monday when the court is scheduled to deliver the
verdict in Anwar's sodomy case.
Kuala Lumpur Police chief Datuk Mohmad Salleh said the agreement was
reached at his meeting with PKR deputy president Azmin Ali at the Kuala
Lumpur police headquarters here Friday.
"The organiser must ensure that the gathering is peaceful and does not
disrupt public order," he told reporters after the meeting. Azmin met
Mohmad at 10 am.
